Doctor Strange

Let’s face it, when it comes to weird stories, characters, and plot, Doctor Strange broke the mold!

Now, in his very own movie, we are finally going to be treated to that Crazy Side of Marvel that Marvel does so well! Since we have a few months before the movie hits, we thought it would be fun to create our own little Dream-Team of characters we’d like to see in a Very STRANGE Movie.

Let’s get to it…..

nightmare

1. NIGHTMARE

The evil ruler of a Dream Dimension, where tormented humans are brought during their sleep, Nightmare is a demon,dependent on the human race’s need to dream. Having clashed with Spider-Man, Captain America, Ghost Rider, Wolverine, Doctor Strange, and the Hulk on many different occasions, Nightmare is just the Demon to throw a wrench in Doctor Strange’s good work. Imagine a demon, so desperate for humans to sleep, he would do almost anything to prolong this so he can torment the souls of those in slumber? Creepy enough for ya?

Shuma_Gorath

2. SHUMA GORATH

An ancient force of chaos, Shuma-Gorath ruled the world during Earth’s pre-history. The immortal, nigh-invincible and godlike ruler of nearly a hundred alternate universes, would demand human sacrifice to appease his evil needs. Shuma Gorath is one of the most powerful Demonic creatures, capable of energy projection, shape-shifting, teleportation, levitation, and reality-altering. With the ability to automatically destroy multiple galaxies through aura-pressure alone, Shuma Gorath would up the ante in a movie chock full of magic and mayhem!

Mephisto

3. MEPHISTO

And you thought Loki was bad?!

Mephisto is an extremely powerful immortal, demonic entity who possesses magical powers gained by dark manipulation of the forces of magic. He’s gone toe-to-toe with cosmic entities such as the Silver Surfer, and Norse Gods such as Thor. Mephisto has captured the soul of Doom’s mother (Something nobody would dare do.), and has tormented the Fantastic Four to the point of near-defeat. He’s the evil man with the evil plan, making him a great foe for Doctor Strange. Imagine a dude like this, stepping out of his realm, and into ours…..creepy!

4. DORMAMMU

Doctor Strange refers to Dormammu as his “most terrible foe” a threat to “the life of the universe itself”, that “at full power no one could stand against.” Now if that doesn’t scare you, I don’t know what would?!

An inter-dimensional entity, Dormammu is the living-embodiment of mystical energy, Hell-bent on the destruction of our world, Dormammu can use his powers to achieve almost any effect he desires. This would include, but is not limited to: Matter manipulation such as teleportation, size-altering, possession, and necromancy (ewww…creepy!). He is also capable of energy projection, as well as bestowing of power, and the ability to create demon lords…yes….DEMON LORDS! This Dude can go around, making more Mephistos, and Nightmares!

With a history rich in battles with Doctor Strange, Dormammu is THE ONLY creature capable of making Dr. Strange quit his practice. Bye Bye, Doctor!

Scarlet_Witch

5. SCARLET WITCH

You know her, you love her, she’s the Scarlet Witch! Now, having been firmly placed in the MCU, Wanda Maximoff is poised to have her break-out moment in the world of magic. What better place to have this happen, then in a movie about magic, mystics, and mayhem….DOCTOR STRANGE!

Scarlet’s ability to manipulate Chaos Magic has brought her to the forefront of the marvel Universe on many occasions, with powers so strong she was able to almost make the entire Mutant population extinct. With the proper training, and discipline, she would make a great magical alley to Strange (even having done so in the recent Doctor Strange comics.).
